Transform DRC is a faith-driven organization dedicated to transforming communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo through comprehensive spiritual, physical, emotional, relational and economic empowerment. Guided by the visionary leadership of Rev. Dr. hc Marie Jeanne Munanga Hamuli and Rev. Dr. hc Theophile Kanyabugoyi Manirarora, the organization tackles critical challenges faced by vulnerable populations while fostering sustainable pahtways to long-term change and resilience.
Transform DRC's diverse programs include Women's Empowerment initiatives, such as vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and financial literacy, enabling women to support their families and contribute to their communities. Programs like the Malkia Tailoring School equip young people with the technical and entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to achieve economic independence and create sustainable futures.
Trauma Healing programs offer emotional support and counselling to those affected by conflict and displacement, helping individuals rebuild their lives with renewed hope.
Pastoral Training equips leaders with the theological tools and leadership skills to inspire and guide their congregations effectively.
Additionally, Transform DRC champions Human Rights advocacy, providing legal aid to those wrongfully imprisoned and support for women involved in inheritance disputes or cases of gender-based violence.
The organization's initiatives extend to provide Humanitarian Relief to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP), where clean water and agricultural projects and education advocacy significantly improve the quality of life for thousands of displaced individuals.
